Application for Entry to BCTC VSR Register

Due to the time and preparation involved in our application process, we do not offer an online service for applying to join the BCTC Register.

The information we request will require verification and approval by our Applications Review Panel, so your application will only be assessed when we receive ALL the documentation listed below.  

Application Steps

Check whether your therapy is included in the VSR-approved list of therapies currently accepted by the BCTC.

  1. Read the BCTC Core Documents. Acceptance of these documents is a requirement of registration.

  2. Provide proof of evidence.  Click here  to see the list of documents required.

  3. Check if Grandparenting Rules apply to you.

  4. Download and complete the Standards of Practice (SOP) Checklist including the CPD Planning Sheet.  

  5. Download  and complete your Application Form, ensuring you complete the Grandparenting Section if applicable and sign in  ALL places indicated.

  6. Send all the above paperwork and your cheque made payable to BCTC to: BCTC, P O Box 5122, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH8 0WG.  Your fee is non-refundable.

In the event that you cannot download the BCTC application forms you can request an Application Pack by sending us an email or contacting our office (Tel: 0845 345 5977). There is a charge of £5 for a paper copy of the application.
