VSR...How to Register?
Group Registration
(Professional Associations)
To register your members with the BCTC follow these simple steps:
- Reach agreement with your members to adopt the BCTC Group application/renewal template.
- Use the BCTC application/renewal template so all your practising members have signed and provided the appropriate documents and declarations for your files.
- Use the BCTC Group Application Checklist to submit your application.
- Once your group application is approved your therapy representative* may be eligible to join the BCTC Board.
We think you will agree, it couldn't be much simpler than that...
We at the BCTC are looking forward to working with you.
Put your future in your hands.
Training and Education Standards
Does your syllabus currently comply with the BCTC Registration requirements?
Incorporating VSR standards will improve the credibility of your training and help your therapy move towards acceptance into State and Private Healthcare systems.
Why not offer your graduated therapists a 'top-up' CPD course, covering the BCTC Standards to support their application?
Application Review Panel
Your application will only be processed if ALL documentation is completed and submitted as requested.
Once approved, we will issue each therapist with a BCTC Registration Certificate. Your organization and therapists will be eligible to use the BCTC Approved logo on your promotional literature, website and correspondence.
Group Renewal
The annual renewal date on the BCTC Register for all member therapy registrants is the 12-month anniversary of their member registration date.
It is the responsibility of the PA to ensure that their Group Renewal Application is completed and submitted on an annual basis. Please use the forms provided: Group Renewal Checklist (GR1) and PA Renewal Proforma (GRP1).
VSR Council Representation
* Each "Participating Therapy" may elect one therapist to be their VSR representative at BCTC Meetings and vote on Council matters.
VSR representatives may also be appointed by the PA (if a single therapy organization).
